New garage door sales and installation

People call for a new door when the old one is dented, rotting at the bottom, or just tired of being patched. Some are finishing a house and need the door put on. Either way, we come to you. We do not have a showroom address to visit.

What we talk through

The quote starts with the opening, not a catalog page. We will ask about:

• Single-car or double-car opening
• Panel style, such as raised panel, carriage house, or a flush modern look
• Windows or no windows
• Color, so it sits right on the house
• Whether you want an insulated door
• Whether the opener stays or gets replaced at the same time

We do not publish prices or a brand list here. The door has to fit the opening, and the number changes with size and options. You get the quote before any work starts.

Taking the old door out

On a replacement, we remove the old door and haul it off as part of the install. Springs on the old door are still under tension, so this is not a job to start yourself while you wait. Leave it up or leave it down, whichever it is in now, and we will handle the swap.

Installation

We set the new door, the track, and the hardware, then run it and check the balance. If the opener needs a reset or the photo eyes need a realignment after the new door is on, we do that before we leave. If the old opener is the weak piece, we will say so. Opener options are on the opener page.

There is a 1-year warranty on all labor.

• Your town
• A photo of the current door from the outside, and one from the inside if you can get it safely
• Rough width if you know it. If you do not, we measure at the house
• Anything you care about: windows, color, insulation, or matching a front door
